There is a large and growing postgraduate community, a group of funded post-doctoral scholars and a 100-strong Fellowship whose work embraces Science, Medicine and Engineering, Social Sciences, Humanities and the Arts.

Dr James Wade discovers rare material on medieval comedy in Heege Manuscript
Jane Elizabeth Martin Official Fellow in English
James has recently published an article in The Review of English Studies that identifies an unprecedented record of live performance comedy from the fifteenth century. This research has been picked up by over 600 media outlets worldwide!

Dr Stephen Oppong Peprah awarded Visiting Fellowship by the British Academy
'Cambridge in Africa’ Bye-Fellow in Classics
Stephen has recently been awarded a Visiting Fellowship by the British Academy. This means that he will remain with us in Cambridge to pursue his project to parse and translate the philosophical dissertations of 18th century African philosopher Anton Amo from Latin into student-friendly English.
Dr Sabesan Sithamparanathan named in Business Elite’s ‘40 Under 40’

Sabesan, CEO and founder of PervasID, has been named in Business Elite’s ‘40 Under 40 – a programme that identifies outstanding young executives and entrepreneurs. PervasID is a technology company that designs and manufactures world-leading, passive RFID fixed readers systems for automating inventory tracking, stock taking and asset management processes.
Professor Lucio Sarno named as one of most prolific authors in top finance journals during the last 75 years
Professorial Fellow
Lucio has been recognised as one of the most prolific authors in top journals in his field over the last 75 years (from 1946 through 2020). The study looks at the number of articles published in the top 4 and top 10 journals in the field in concluding that the distribution of authors in top finance journals is “virtually identical” to the well-known Yule-Simon rule of distribution probability.
