Join us from 3:30pm for refreshments, with talks beginning at 4:00pm. A full programme will be circulated closer to the event, but confirmed speakers include:

  • Professor Anne Rosser (Girton 1979), Professor of Clinical Neuroscience at Cardiff University. Professor Rosser’s research focusses on improving our understanding of the mechanisms of cell death, plasticity and regeneration in the central nervous system in order to offer new opportunities for remediation and repair in several of the most distressing neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington’s disease.
  • Nick Carter, Year 6 student, on Trauma Surgery in Charlotte Maxeke, Johannesburg.
  • Success Anyanwu, Year 6 student, on “Inside Roche: My Experience in Swiss Life Sciences & Healthcare Innovation.”

Dinner and Special Guest Speaker

The highlight of the evening will be Professor Tom Wilkinson (Girton 1989), Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the University of Southampton, who will deliver an inspiring talk after dinner. His distinguished career in respiratory medicine makes him a captivating speaker, and we’re excited to have him with us.
