This year’s concert for the Roll will feature a current PhD student, Edward Campbell-Rowntree on piano, and the prize-winning soprano, Georgie Malcolm, with whom he regularly collaborates. The two musicians have been invited to take part in the 2024 Wigmore Hall International Song Competition, and their Girton programme features repertoire they have been preparing for this prestigious competition, including songs on the theme of ‘Sleeping, Dreaming, and Waking’ by Schumann, Fauré, Strauss, Sibelius and Rachmaninov.
