The Mistress of Girton College, Dr Elisabeth Kendall, has been sharing expert commentary on the recent developments in Yemen and the Middle East across major national and international television networks and news outlets in over 40 interviews.
An expert in Arabic and Islamic Studies, Dr Kendall draws on her significant fieldwork experience in Yemen studying the evolution of the country’s civil conflict and its complex international dimensions. Previously, Dr Kendall has also worked closely with the Office of the UN Envoy to Yemen, and advised parts of NATO, the British, US and other militaries.
